Florida Today-March 12, 2013-According to the article a 34-year-old Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida man is accused of cutting his father with a knife and then fleeing from police late Sunday. The man ended up crashing his vehicle. Melbourne police received a call regarding a fight between a father and son at a home on Sarno Road at about 8:20 p.m. According to police the man cut his father with a knife and the fled in his grandmothers 2010 Ford. Officer spotted him driving on southbound exiting the Interstate 95 and heading east on Eau Gallie Boulevard. Melbourne police tried to make a traffic stop, but the man did not yield. Police used "stop sticks" to deflate the tires on the vehicle. The man crashed the car into a utility pole. The man was taken to the hospital, but will be charged with aggravated assault, car jacking, fleeing and eluding an officer and driving with a suspend license.
