Crash Injures Pedestrian
Florida Today-February 22, 2013-According to the article a crash injured a pedestrian and closed down Malabar Road near Interstate 95 for about 30 minutes Wednesday morning in Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida. The incident occurred at about 11:30 a.m. The initial report was that a semi truck hit a pedestrian at the northbound off ramp to Malabar Road. The article goes onto say that the pedestrian was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida.

Man Stops Attackers with Plant Stand
Florida Today-February 22, 2013-According to the article a man used a metal plant holder to defend himself from two men who tried to break in his home on Tuesday in Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida. Apparently the two men were upset that the man asked them to turn down their car stereo. The suspects began to yell at the man and began followed the man as he began to retreat inside his home. According to police one suspect kicked out a window as he tried to break in, but the victim hit the man with the plant stand and the suspect took off. The article goes onto say that police found both suspects in the bathroom of their residence washing off blood. Both were charged with burglary with assault and taken to Brevard County jail.
