Rider Injured in Collision with SUV
Florida Today-January 31, 2013-According to the article a motorcyclist was airlifted with life threatening injuries after a crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Cocoa, Brevard County, Florida. The accident was reported around 1:00 p.m. near Roundtree Drive just north of the Beachline Expressway. According to Florida Highway Patrol the accident involved a 2000 Kawasaki motorcycle and a 1999 Dodge sport utility vehicle. The 47-year-old rider of the motorcycle was airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida in critical condition. The 51-year-old driver of the SUV of Cocoa was injured but was not taken to the hospital. Police closed down all lanes of the highway while police were on the scene and a medical helicopter landed to pick up the motorcyclist.

Melbourne Village Police Car Crashes
Florida Today-January 31, 2013-According to the article Florida Highway Patrol are investigating a crash that damaged a Melbourne Village police car on Wednesday in West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The accident occurred around 12:35 p.m. at Wickham Road and NASA Boulevard in West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. According to Florida Highway Patrol a black Mercedes SUV hit a marked Melbourne Village patrol car. No injuries were reported from the accident. The crash remains under investigation.

Child Airlifted After Falling from Swing
Florida Today-January 31, 2013-According to the article a 10-year-old child was airlifted to Orlando hospital after falling off a swing at Discovery Elementary School in Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida on Wednesday. The incident happened around 11:00 a.m. at the school at 1275 Glendale Avenue, N.W. According to the police the child fell from the swing and hit his head and taken to Arnold Palmer for Children and Women with injuries that were no life threatening.
