Two Killed When Van Strikes Pole
Florida Today-December 3, 2012-According to the article two Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida residents were killed when their van struck a concrete pole Saturday just south of Eau Gallie Boulevard in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The 80-year-old driver and the 71- year-old passenger of the van died in the crash at about 5:12 p.m. The article goes onto say the driver of th evan failed to negotiate a sweeping right curve, Florida Highway Patrol state. The van went off the roadway and barely missed a tree, then crossed back over the pavement and struck the pole. According to the troopers they believe the man had a medical condition that may have contributed to the crash. The car accident remains under investigation.
