Man Charged In Patrol Car Crash
Florida Today-November 28, 2012-According to the article investigators suspect a man was driving drunk after he crashed his car into two police patrol cars late Monday night. Two police cars, with emergency light flashing, were stopped on Babcock Street just south of Blaine Street in Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida. They were helping a person with a disabled vehicle. The man driving the 2005 Chevrolet pickup truck crashed into the one police car, pushing it into the second one. The 61-year-old driver of the pickup truck was taken to Health First Palm Bay Hospital in Brevard County, Florida. The two officers were not injured.
Florida Today-NOVEMBER 29, 2012-According to this article no one was injured when a sport utility vehicle crashed into a Melbourne police patrol car on Babcock Street and New Haven on Thursday afternoon in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The officer was heading south en route to a large fight when he was hit by an eastbound Dodge Durango. The Melbourne officer had his lights and sirens on his patrol vehicle when the crash occurred. Fortunately, the officer and his police dog were not injured in the accident and the 54-year-old driver of the SUV was not injured either.
