Woman Killed in Early Morning Crash in Melbourne
Florida Today-August 26, 2012-Rick Neale-According to the article a 26-year-old Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida woman was killed in an early morning two-vehicle car crash. The automobile accident occurred on Diary Road in Melbourne. The woman was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a Pay Bay, Brevard County, Florida resident. The incident occurred at about 2:00 a.m. They two were headed east on Snicole Avenue when the driver ran a stop sign and crashed into a southbound vehicle. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof in a wooded area. The article goes onto say that rescue crews had to extricate the occupants of the southbound vehicle, both of which are Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida residents. The crash remains under investigation. Both drivers voluntarily submitted to blood tests to detect the presence of alcohol or chemical substances.

Man Drove into Lagoon is Charged
Florida Today-August 8, 2012-According to the article a Vero Beach man faces a charge of driving under the influence after he drove his SUV into the Indian River Lagoon late Monday. Sheriffs deputies found the 35-year-old man inside his Ford Explorer about 300 feet from shore near U.S. 1 and Rocky Road south of Malabar, Brevard County, Florida about 10:30 p.m. When Sheriff deputies arrived the man was still in his vehicle and smoking a cigarette. Police reported that the man wold them he got in a fight with his wife and too the kids, so he wasnt going to let her get the car too.
