Firefighter Jumps in and Stops Crash By SEO Admin on July 25, 2012

Florida Today-July 25, 2012-According to the article a woman remains in critical condition after an off duty Palm Bay fire-fighter used his own vehicle to stop the rolling approach of an oncoming car. The driver of the car was slumped over the wheel. The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Babcock Street and Port Malabar Boulevard in Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida. The Palm Bay Fire-Rescue firefighter, a Lieutenant and a 25-year veteran of the department spotted the womans slow moving vehicle. The firefighter looked inside the vehicle noticed that the driver was passed out and leaning forward on the steering wheel. The man tried to alert the woman but the continued and jumped a divider into oncoming traffic. The firefighter quickly pulled his vehicle in front of the womans and brought it to a stop with the impact, then tried to revive the woman.
