Florida Today-July 2, 2012-According to the article authorities in Illinois say a 38-year-old West Melbourne man is one of the two people dead after a boat collision Tuesday in Benton, Illinois. The mans body was found at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday in 8 feet of water of Rend Lake. The article goes onto say the man was married and had two children and was a design engineer for BRP Inc. - Bombardier Recreational Products and Vehicles. The company, based locally in Palm Bay, Brevard County, Florida has a facility in Benton. The other victim died at the St. Louis hospital. She worked for BRP supplier Milsco Mexico. The two were test driving a speed boat at full throttle Tuesday afternoon when it collided with another test boat. Officials report the was knocked inland about 30 yards.
