Police Car Crashes Keep Agencies Busy By SEO Admin on June 07, 2012

Florida Today-June 7, 2012-J.D. Gallop-According to the article a series of crashes and collisions involving police cars that left law enforcement officers with minor injuries and fleet mechanics busy with repairs at several agencies. The latest crash occurred about 6:00 a.m. Wednesday after a police car flipped over along U.S. 1 in Mims, Brevard County, Florida. The accident totaled the vehicle and leaving a Brevard County Sheriffs deputy with minor injuries. The deputy was taken to Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Brevard County, Florida for further evaluation. This crash was one of at least five involving patrol cars this week. One including a police chase in West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida that ended with three patrol vehicles badly damaged. The third incident occurred Tuesday night when a Palm Bay patrol officer was traveling along Malabar Road and struck and killed a deer. The K-9 officer was not seriously injured in the accident.
