Florida Today-February 22, 2012-J. D. Gallop-According to the article, a neighbor crashed into the living room of a 83-year-old mans home in West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The newer model Mustang crashed into the living room about 9:00 a.m. of the 600 block of Cocoanut Grove and the corner of Tropicana Avenue. Apparently the driver failed maintain control of the Mustang as he turned south onto Cocoanut and rolled across the lawn into the concrete block home. The article goes onto say that the impact-shattered window and knocked in a port of the wall shielding the living room. The driver of the car was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida and was said to be in stable condition. The elderly man and his dog were no injured. Although, the damages to his home are estimated to be around $20,000.
