Scooter Rider Struck and Killed in Accident By SEO Admin on November 29, 2011

Florida Today-November 29, 2011-According to the article a 57-year-old woman riding a scooter was struck and killed Monday afternoon after pulling out of her driveway onto John Rodes Boulevard in West Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The driver of the scooter was not wearing a helmet and was taken to Wuesthoff Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida where she died from her injuries. The accident occurred around 3:10 p.m. near the intersection of Sheridan Road just north of the U.S. 192. The scooter pulled out from a private driveway, traveling across the south bound lane of John Rodes Boulevard and into the path of a 2000 Ford pickup truck that was traveling northbound. The driver of the pick up truck was not hurt and alcohol is not a factor.
