Florida Today-May 9, 2011- According to this article a Cocoa man was struck and killed by an SUV early on Sunday morning near the Florida Power and Light Cape Canaveral power plant in Brevard County. Florida Highway Patrol are investigating and trying to identify the driver. According to the article the Cocoa man was walking east across U.S. 1 at Cottrel Blvd. when he was struck by a white or silver SUV. The unidentified driver left the scene without stopping and continued to head north.
