Florida Today-February 28, 2011-Staff-A Cocoa woman has been charged with causing a recent motor vehicle crash that left another woman dead and two children injured. The crash occurred on Grissom Parkway near Sharpes in Brevard County, Florida. The female driver was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter, two counts of DUI serious bodily injury, and DUI property damage. Investigating Brevard County Florida State Trooper said the driver had a blood-alcohol level of .227 when her Ford Taurus automobile rear ended a Mitsubishi Montero driven by a Cocoa resident. The Montero overturned ejecting the driver and her two sons. The driver of the Montero died at Wuesthoff Medical Center in Rockledge and both children were hospitalized. This car crash occurred on Grissom Parkway at Canaveral Groves Blvd. in Brevard County, Florida. The charged driver has been booked into the Brevard County jail.
