Florida Today- Recently, 24-year-old Darryl Kenney was found guilty of murder by a Brevard County jury. The judge was ready to sentence him after the verdict but scheduled the sentencing so the that the victims family, the murders grandparents, could be present. During the trial, the 12 Brevard County jurors and three alternates listened for approximately three hours as the defense and state pleaded their respective cases over the course of closing arguments. Twelve jurors then deliberated for nearly seven hours before reaching a verdict of guilty.
