Florida Today -June 23, 2010-Keyonna Summers-This article points out that red-light cameras may be used, in the future, in the city of Cocoa. Currently, Melbourne, Satellite Beach and Titusville have also discussed the use of red-light cameras. Two Brevard County cities already have them. Palm Bay has cameras at Malabar and Minton Roads, Emerson and San Filippo Drives since 2-16-2010. The fine associated with these cameras is $125.00. The city of Cocoa Beach has also had cameras. Cocoa Beachs red-light cameras are at State Road A1A and Fischer Park and have been in operation since April of 2010. The fine associated with these cameras is $150.00, increasing the subsequent offenses.
