Indialantic Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Car
Florida Today-March 2, 2010-A 68-year-old Pedestrian was killed recently after he was struck by a car while trying to cross State Road A1A in Indialantic, Brevard County, Florida. The pedestrian a Melbourne resident, was on the east side of State Road A1A near Water Edge Lane and tried to cross State Road A1A, walking to the west at approximately 7:25 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol the pedestrian was struck by a southbound vehicle traveling in the right through lane. The operator of the motor vehicle was not hurt. According to police alcohol was not a factor in the crash and no charges were filed.
