Cocoa Beach FL Fourteen Year Student Old Arrested By SEO Admin on April 18, 2008

According to a Florida Today newspaper article ( 03/03/08) a fourteen year old Cocoa Beach Junior/Senior High School student is in police custody after he threatened to blow up a school bus. The male student was arrested at the school by the Cocoa Beach Police Department and charged with a felony for the false report of planting a bomb, explosive device or weapon of mass destruction. According to Brevard County public schools, the boy wrapped a tee shirt around his head "turban" style and held a sign up to the back window of the school bus that read, "I'm going to blow up this bus." The Brevard County School District is conducting their own investigation into the inactions on the part of the school bus driver. Apparently the Brevard County School Board bus driver failed to follow proper procedures in that the driver should have evacuated the students from the bus, among other things, but instead continued with her route.
