One Child Injured in School Bus Accident
Florida Today-September 19, 2012-According to the article one child was injured and transported to Wuesthoff Hospital in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The child suffered minor injuries after a crash involving a Brevard County School District bus Tuesday morning. The accident occurred around 8:25 a.m. on Aurora Road in Melbourne. The bus was stopping near Fox Bay Road picking up students. The article goes onto say that the 18-year-old driver was not paying attention and ran her 2002 Kia SUV into the back of the bus. The driver of the vehicle was ticketed for careless driving.

Wreck Injures Three and Closes Interstate 95
Florida Today-September 19, 2012-According to the article a three-car accident at 11:25 in the morning on Tuesday closed down all lanes on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, Florida. The accident injured three people involved in the crash. The crash was about one mile north of the Eau Gallie exit in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The article goes onto say that a 38-year-old tractor trailer driver was heading south when traffic slowed in front of him and he could not stop in time. He tried to swerve to the left and hit a four-door Toyota. The tractor trailer driver also drove through the guardrail and partially into the left northbound lane of I-95. Debris from the impact with the guardrail hit a northbound vehicle. The driver and passenger in the Toyota were injured and taken to Health First Viera Hospital in Brevard County, Florida. The injured victims suffered only minor injuries. The tractor trailer driver was ticketed for failure to maintain a single lane.
