Florida Today-April 20, 2012-According to the article five people and two pets were left homeless after fire destroyed their home Thursday in Titusville, Brevard County, Florida. Luckily, there were no injuries. The Titusville Fire Department responded at about 9:50 a.m. to Royal Oak Drive, finding a fire in the garage and attic of the house. The fire department extinguished the blaze in about 20 minutes. There was heavy smoke and damage to the rest of the home. Titusville Police are still investigating the matter.

Florida Today-April 20, 2012-According to the article a man in his 60’s was transported by helicopter to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida in serious condition after his motorcycle crashed with a Honda CR-V. The accident occurred near U.S 1 and Palm Street in Port. St. John, Brevard County, Florida around 2:30 p.m. The motorcyclist suffered a head injury and it is not known whether he was wearing a helmet or not at the time of the accident. The passenger of the car, a 78-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to Parrish Medical Center.

Florida Today-April 20, 2012-According to the article police re looking for witnesses of a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist seriously injured. The crash occurred at about 10:50 p.m. on April 4th, at the 7900 Atlantic Avenue, in Brevard County, Florida. According to police the motorcyclist believes he was hit by a Pontiac Montana minivan. The van would have had heavy front-end damage such as missing part of the lower drive side front bumper and a fog light. As well as the front driver side wheel well liner. Florida Today-April 19, 2012-According to the article firefighters freed a driver trapped in a single vehicle rollover crash at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night on U.S. 192, just west of Camp Holly in Brevard County, Florida. There was only one person in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver received only minor injuries and declined transport to the hospital.

Claims Journal-April 16, 2012-According to the article a vehicle smashed through the entrance of a Florida supermarket, injuring at least eight people. A 76-year-old woman drove her car through the entrance of a Publix Supermarket in Palm Coast, Flagler County, Florida. early Saturday afternoon. Investigators found no apparent problems with the car’s brakes. According to witnesses the car appeared to be going about 50 mph. The article goes onto say one person had been pinned beneath the car, but none of the injuries were life threatening.

Florida Today-April 13, 2012-According to the article a 62-year-old Cocoa, Brevard County, Florida man was killed in a crash that occurred Thursday morning involving a tractor trailer. The deadly accident happened around 9:40 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Volusia County, Florida. According to the Florida Highway Patrol the driver of the tractor trailer carrying logging equipment suffered an unknown medical condition and veered into the center median. The truck hit several trees. The driver was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and died at the scene.

Florida Today-April 13, 2012-According to the article a 49-year-old woman was killed late Wednesday in a traffic accident. The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on U.S. 1 when a Dodge Intrepid traveling north turned into the path of a Toyota Tundra traveling south. The passenger of the Intrepid died of her injuries in the crash. According to firefighters the crash was so violent that the passenger had to be cut out of the Intrepid’s wreckage.

Florida Today-April 13, 2012-According to the article one person was seriously injured in one of two wrecks that occurred on Interstate 95 for about two hours on Thursday. Port St. Lucie driver and his 3-year-old boy were driving a Jeep SUV when it began to malfunction causing him to swerve into a concrete barrier and overturn. The boy in the Jeep suffered only minor injuries and was taken to Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Brevard County, Florida. In the second accident a tractor trailer didn’t stop for slowing traffic and hit as many as four vehicles. The driver of the tractor trailer told Florida Highway Patrol that papers had fallen from the sun visor into his lap and didn’t see the stop traffic ahead. The truck driver and the two people in a Toyota Prius were injured. The woman in the car was flown to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

NASA Boulevard and Airport Road in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. The article goes onto say the bus was traveling eastbound on NASA Blvd. and turned in front of other vehicle. There were seven students on the bus at the time of the crash. There was no report of any injuries in the crash.
