Lucky Driver’s Not Seriously Injured in Instate 95 Crash
Florida Today- December 11, 2009-According to this article no one was seriously injured in a vehicle roll over on south bound Instate 95 Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida. Unfortunately, the roll over crash caused delays near mile marker 191, just north of the Wickham Road exit of Instate 95.

Florida Today- December 10, 2009-According to this article no charges will be filed in a single car accident involving a FDOT motor vehicle that flipped while attempting to cross the water-logged median on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, Florida. Fortunately the FDOT officer did not suffer serious injuries. The crash occurred on Interstate 95 just south of it’s intersection with State Road 528 (Beachline).

Florida Today-December 9, 2009-According to this article an aggressive Pitt Bull was recently shot by a Palm Bay police. Apparently, Palm Bay police were called to a local apartment complex at Palm Bay Road and Lipscomb Street to investigate a disturbance involving three women and a man. At some point a Pitt Bull ran out of the apartment occupied by these individuals and charged one of the police officers. The officer fired one shot, killing the animal. The officer was not hurt.

Florida Today-December 7, 2009-According to this article police were seeking information regarding a possible car jacking that occurred recently on Wickham Road near the Melbourne Greyhound Park in Brevard County, Florida. Apparently, sometime in the early morning, a witness called the Melbourne Police and said a man possibly holding a gun, ran onto Wickham Road from nearby apartment complex. He then jumped into the backseat of a small four door automobile that was stopped due to a traffic light in the southbound lanes of Wickham Road.

Florida Today-November 6, 2009-Keyonna Summers-According to this article a Brevard County jury recently found a Palm Bay woman not guilt of causing a 2007 roll over crash in which the woman was injured and her friend died. Apparently a Brevard County jury deliberated for about 1.5 hours before returning a not guilty verdict in the three day, DUI manslaughter trial. Apparently, jurors were unable to identify that the woman charged was in fact the driver of the vehicle at the time in question. Florida Highway Patrol reports said that the alleged driver had blood-alcoholic content of .126, higher than the legal limit of .08. However the accused defense attorneys put on witnesses stating that they were unable to see who was driving the vehicle at the time and were unable who was ejected from the vehicle.

Florida Today-November 6, 2009-According to local police a man was taken into custody after witnesses reported he was walking between homes. Apparently this man is linked to a serious of residential burglaries in the Brevard County area. The arrested individual is charged with loitering and prowling, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a control substance.
